**Insight into your health**
The Zinzino VitaminD Test is a simple and reliable way to analyze your vitamin D levels through a self-test. Using the scientifically validated Dried Blood Spot (DBS) technique, capillary blood is collected from the fingertip, which is as accurate as a venous blood sample.
All it takes is 1 to 2 drops of blood on a Whatman® filter paper, and the test is completed within a minute. VITAS Analytical Services in Norway performs an anonymous analysis of your vitamin D status, which can fluctuate throughout the year due to various factors such as sun exposure, diet and supplement use.
It is recommended that you repeat the test every 120 days to monitor your values. With your personalized test ID, you will receive detailed, customized recommendations to keep your vitamin D levels optimal.
**What we measure**
There are multiple methods to assess vitamin D levels in your body, and we use best practices to ensure optimal accuracy. The 25-hydroxyvitamin D test is the most reliable way to measure vitamin D levels, analyzing the 25(OH)D, also known as calcidiol, in your blood.
This test provides a complete overview of your vitamin D intake from three sources: diet, supplements and skin synthesis. The results are used to determine whether your vitamin D level is optimal, too high or too low.
Vitamin D levels are shown in nanograms per milliliter (ng/ml) or nanomoles per liter (nmol/l). The most common unit is nmol/l, but in the U.S. and some other countries, ng/ml is often used. When presenting your test results, you have the option of selecting the desired unit of measurement.

Register your test by entering your test ID and filling out the form. All data is anonymous.
Step 3. Start your journey
Benefit from a clear starting point for your journey to a normally functioning immune system. Carefully adjust and maintain your optimal vitamin D status throughout the year.
Step 4. Wait for the analysis
Vitas Analytical Services has over 25 years of experience and uses advanced knowledge and technology that guarantees your sample is analyzed independently and your privacy is maintained.
Step 5. Receive your results
Your results will be analyzed within 10-20 days and displayed in clear graphs.
Step 6. Re-test your levels
Vitamin D uptake from sun exposure varies in many parts of the world throughout the year, and restoring your status generally takes 3-4 months with vitamin D supplementation, depending on the dose and your individual status. We recommend retesting every 4 months to track your progress and make sure you are reaching and maintaining your optimal vitamin D status.
